When most people hear "boudoir photography," they picture sultry lingerie, soft sheets, and studio lighting. And sure, that version exists — it’s timeless, elegant, and empowering in its own right. But here’s the truth: boudoir doesn’t have to look like that. In fact, it doesn’t have to look like anything you’ve seen before.

The heart of boudoir is you. It’s about capturing your confidence, your story, your beauty — whether that looks like lacy lingerie or your favorite cosplay.

I've done the classic sessions and don't get me wrong, they’re absolutely stunning and I love them. But I've also had shoots where cake smashing was on the menu — literally. I've had clients bring in jeans and a t-shirt, leather jackets, and even a jedi light saber.

Some women want to tap into their sensual side. Others want to feel powerful, edgy, emotional, or fierce. Some want all of it at once. And that’s the magic — boudoir is not a one-size-fits-all experience.

Think your favorite band tee isn’t “sexy enough” for boudoir? Think again. Want to wear your wedding veil and your combat boots? Let’s go. Want to eat cupcakes in your underwear while quoting your favorite movie? That’s not weird — that’s you. And it’s beautiful.

You don’t have to be a certain body type, age, or wear a particular outfit. You don’t even have to wear anything “sexy” if that’s not your vibe. The only thing required is that you show up as yourself, open to being seen in a new light — one that’s all your own.
